Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
3. What We Do NOT Use
- No third-party advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- No retargeting or remarketing pixels
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting technologies
- No social media tracking widgets (Facebook Like, Twitter Share buttons that track)
- No sale or sharing of cookie data with third parties
4. Third-Party Services
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Fraud detection during payment checkout | View |
| Google Fonts | Web font delivery (Google records font requests; no personal cookies set) | View |
| Firebase | Authentication tokens and anonymous analytics | View |
These services have their own privacy policies governing the data they collect. Spotlr does not control these cookies.
5. Your Cookie Choices
Cookie consent banner
When you first visit Spotlr, we display a cookie consent banner. You can accept all cookies or dismiss the banner. Essential cookies (authentication, consent) are always active because they are required for the site to function.
Browser controls
All modern browsers allow you to manage cookie settings. Here's how to access cookie controls in popular browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data
Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using the Platform. Analytics cookies can be blocked without affecting core functionality.
Clearing stored data
To clear all Spotlr data stored in your browser, use your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature and select "Cookies and other site data." This will also clear local storage and session storage. Note that this will log you out and reset your onboarding progress and consent preferences.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Since there is no accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, we do not currently alter our practices when we detect a DNT signal. However, because we do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, the practical impact is minimal.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie consent banner, which will reappear to inform you of updates.
